Yugioh just revealed a new card called "Tribrigade Kyouchou no Shrike", which apparently translates to:
"Tribrigade - Shrike the Wicked Wings"

@prumm huh, interesting! granted these are just translations by the fans who do a bunch of translating, konami's translations are usually slightly different when they localize it for america (sometimes better and sometimes worse)
maybe shuraigu has some sort of japanese wordplay going on???
@Griever ohh that's a very good point... most likely outside my grasp of the language ^^; I'll keep an eye out once it's translated to see if I can find an explanation
@Griever I've been looking at this for a while because the title actually says シュライグ (shuraigu) instead of シュライク (shuraiku) and I can't figure out why. afaik it isn't shrike in another language either.
side note: the japanese word for shrike is モズ (mozu); this is alternately written as 百舌, which can be translated as "hundred tongues."
