Horses aren't real.

Horses were originally created in 1999 when Mark Rosewater adapted an Asian mythological creature for the Magic The Gathering set Portal 3 Kingdoms. They were created to take advantage of the existing mechanic 'horsemanship'. Since then this myth of 'horses' has spiraled out of control.
