Woke up to a message from my girlfriend (not the one y'all can see on here) that I am finally being cancelled on twitter, which is *hilarious* since I was not yet being cancelled before i made my final exit from Twitter. I pre-flounced.

I seriously would not even care if i had not had MULTIPLE people come to me really upset that a lot of the community hates them for being bi and using the term lesbian.

It was stupid to poke the homestuck/identity police teens by posting "june egbert is a bi lesbian" even though it is both funny and true. Getting in on that joke that was specifically engineered to piss them off was, like, you know, unnecessary.
But doing it did show me how badly i need to be off twitter. The temptation to fight with people who are wrong and harmful but will never budge is too strong. It's a waste of energy and basically just self-harm.
