the mercy killing scene has given halley EXACTLY who Sawyer is and I'm so glad to see just how effective the storytelling is

both of them are hollering about how much they love Jack and how much of a dipshit he is over the tabula rasa speech

They're both theorizing that Locke was never on the plane and that he's intrinsic to the island because the sound slowly cuts out whenever the camera turns to him

(the real point of the conversation is that the only thing making Locke seem evil is the camera and musical cues, and everything he's actually done is either good or kind of weird)
