re: last stab & the tulsa united methodist church, i actually worked on a documentary about bruce goff, the architect who designed it. he put OU's architecture program on the map in the early 40's and would go on to make some of the most incredible houses *anywhere*. he was also openly gay and it wasn't until the late 50's that he was fired for "endangering the morals of a minor" and his entire legacy was systematically erased. most of his buildings have been neglected or destroyed
