i've just demonstrated that it's possible to legitimately obtain and use the cloaca surprise as a true kin and i feel insane. i love caves of qud. thank you to eva for the extremely important hint

in short: slog will not teach true kin the cloaca surprise through the water ritual, however, if you dominate a robot through ganglionic teleprojectors and then ensure that robot has enough rep to learn the surprise, you can become the most beautiful aristocrat that has ever existed
