Cant wait for ten years down the line when we finally get the next KH installment and it turns out that whatever the fuck happened in smash bros is canon. Also mario and luigi are summons now.

everyone in Smash is trophies, right? that’s what the reveal trailer started with, and that’s been the case since literally the intro to Smash 64* (which is why Smash hasn’t ever been canon for anyone)
but Sora’s never seen as a trophy—the Keyblade opens a keyhole and out he comes
that’s no trophy—that’s *the actual Sora*
*ok in Smash 64 they were dolls not trophies but you get what I’m getting at
See it would make sense that this happens after sora goes missing at the end of kh3 and is implied to be in a new universe.
