on the other hand i've been working at a place where all the patients are pregnant women. sometimes i go to deliver a letter to a different clinic and invariably the receptionist will see me waiting to talk to them, look at the pregnant woman in front of them, and ask her "is this your husband/partner?" and i have to look this stranger in the eye and then back at the receptionist and be like Haha no
