Anyway shera reboot was good and incredibly gay. Noelle stevenson is a great storyteller and an even smarter negotiator by making the gay aspect inextricable from the core of the show because, of course, she's gay and driven by genuine desire in seeing it through
From season 1 you had a pair of background married lesbians and by season 5 the main villain is an actual cult of normalcy and loss of identity that demands the purification and assimilation of all beings into one (which when contrasted w the gay themes present on the show, is VERY clear what this is referring to) while the main villain also has a titty window slit dress bc the whole show is queergazed
@holytomater this stuff was baked in the very foundation of She Ra!!!! Aaaaaa
@aslanZounder i love how as the show goes on characters get progressively gayer visual powerups w/ thigh highs and leotards and spiky haircuts
@holytomater it’s wonderful we love to see it
(This is the only reason why voltron keeps popping up this month theyre big mad about multiple alive lesbians onscreen)
