I would consider amused to be a gently positive feeling, and bemused to be a gently neutral feeling. ceemused must be something gently negative. and from here on, despair has been renamed demused as it is a gently awful feeling.

what the fuck. I googled "demused" and I got urban dictionary / other slang definitions that completely match this definition. what's going on. has someone else made this post before.

not gonna lie, a big reason I made this post is to help me remember in the future that bemused doesn't mean the same thing as amused. I've checked the definition a million times but every time I read it I go "wait no it means something else, they wouldn't make such a similar word mean the same thing. would they? [googles]"
