apps and modern websites were a mistake for many reasons but today it's because google maps does not give me the option to permanently turn off suggested routes for a rented scooter

if maps existed like this 15 years ago I could have said "no thank you, anytime I see a Uber Scooter on the sidewalk I have to resist the urge to throw it into a trash compactor" and the website would understand and shut up about it
