in bed with covid with laptop in front of me ,- wondering if side-aligned taskbar/panel is still optimal in a multi-monitor side by side setup. where a panel must be crossed over by the mouse to travel between monitors. many seem to think that the side panel is not optimal, or that the people are not strong enough for side panel in this setup. Ubuntu seems to think they are strong enough and it is worth it. much to consider. side panel is beautiful but can the world handle it
