tribes 3 rivals has about infinity million hurdles to clear to actually succeed as a game and some of the baffling design decisions in the playtest do not bode well but i keep landing blue plate specials so it's impossible to say if it's bad or not
the playtest being capture the flag is fun because it means if you see someone actually in the midfield they're either brand new and completely oblivious to the world around them or they've been locked in a concrete bunker with only Tribes 2 for entertainment for the past 20 years and you're about to eat a snap airshot so perfect you can't even be mad about it
