I would like to see an adaptation of Kirby's comics that treats space and form the way he does--as this prerenaissance design element. idk how you'd even do it. the closest we've ever come in pop culture is probably like some mix of The Shining, Spider-verse, and Nosferatu lmao which is a buck wild selection of films to juxtapose I know but LOOK at that page, look how space weirdly compresses down and folds forward and fills with flat color and black abstracted shadow!
