From watching literally dozens of movies i have learnt that USAians are always concerned with getting to prom on time. Some suggestions for affirming things to say to USAians in your life:
- you will certainly make it to prom on time
- i expect you will not encounter any mishaps on your way to prom
- while you yourself are unlikely to be voted prom king/queen, you strike me as the character who will experience the most personal growth at prom
- oh you look great today. are you going to prom
getting an Internet enabled camera installed that plays on loop on my bosses monitor when I'm in office so that he can see how sad he's making Wednesday

reading about how misophonia and synesthesia maybe be related which makes sense. they're like two sides of the same coin. synesthesia makes you feel all nice when you watch a video of someone tapping things and whispering and misophonia makes you want to do murders if you hear chewing. sure wish i had the first one and not the second
