it really really REALLY sucks that there's just this... narrow band of games that i can play safely. and everything outside of that either bores me instantly or i get so absorbed in it that i'm unable to pay attention to anything else no matter how much i want to

and the worst part is that this is built into the architecture of the brain because apollo deals with this too despite not being the kind of person who'd normally fall for this stuff! and, like, it's particularly awful because as soon as gacha of any kind, even card games, enters the equation it becomes 10x worse and i lose SO MUCH MONEY

i go to find something to fiddle with when i'm not needed at the tabletop i'm playing at and whoops i'm totally incommunicado for pretty much the entire time because i'm checked the fuck out baby!!!
