@JenthaBriati my general feeling on medical stuff with really long wait times is that like- if you keep putting it off because it's gonna take a long time you'll eventually reach a point where if you'd just gotten the ball rolling right from the get go you'd have gotten it done already you know?

@JenthaBriati in that sense, it's worth it to get the ball rolling, get your name on a list. it might take a long time to get in hrt but you're at least moving towards something

@pataphysicker Yeah... It just seemed all hopeless to begin with as well as constantly seeing specific UK transphobia events all the time that I just didn't think it'd work out

@pataphysicker I'll talk to a doc about it. I was technically referred to a place years ago so I'm curious where that ended up.

@JenthaBriati follow up on it, in the off-chance they find the referral they might be able to bump you up on the wait-list

@JenthaBriati it's an unfortunate state of affairs where you have to push so hard for healthcare but you are owed it and it is worth it and you'll be glad you did
