theres this anecdote I love about jim steranko and stan lee. steranko wanted to do a spread in Nick Fury that was a full four pages in length and stan apparently went ballistic at him, told him there was no way, absolutely not, ridiculous concept

till jim pointed out to him that if anyone wanted to view the full spread they'd have to buy two copies of the comic. and folks, stan let him do it.
