@nowionlywantatriumph i'm sure they're completely aware but unfortunately there's a lot more money and "business sense" in keeping stuff tied to their platform, and in a subscription model where you don't actually own anything. gauranteed revenue and all that.
and yeah, keeping stuff like GO on mobile is better for them as well since gambling on the chance to catch a raid boss is more profitable then a single purchase of a good game
@ahamkara if Nintendo were smart they’d just start selling as many standalone ROMs as they can—they don’t even need to build the emulator, and it’s pure profit for them
I don’t think they realize how huge the untapped market for emulation on iOS is—who cares about Pokémon Go when actual, legitimate, real Pokémon games are a few taps away now?
