@cryptid i remember seeing "Socialism or Barbarism" listed once as a false dichotomy on some website
that Rosa Luxembourg took this position a few years(iirc) before the failed German revolution and, of course, ww2 shows it in clearer context than simply some kind of universal eternal statement
saying that, its pretty clear it is again incredibly true
