I said before that the Common Yellowthroat is my nemesis species but I spoke too soon, I actually got an okay photo of one today!!!

Female American Redstart that I was following for like, two hours. She was pretty chill for a redstart, tbh? Really happy with these photos

Only decent photo I got of this male Northern Parula, I got to watch him and a group of other warblers bathe together!!!

The male American Redstart finally decided to show up after everyone finished bathing!!! It was his turn now.

I dont know if u all are ready for these next photos.

I was wondering why I kept seeing robins chilling in the same area despite me being around, and then I spotted this guy! American Robin fledgling!!

(Pls remember to never pick up fledgling birds even if the parents don’t seem to be around; they absolutely are in the area, they’re just getting food for the kid. Only ever move a fledgling if it is in immediate danger or the parents are confirmed dead, and then in that case bring them to your local wildlife rescue as soon as you can)

SOLITARY SANDPIPER I was leaving the park and walking down the street and found another pond with him in there (alone, of course!)

And then like twenty feet away was this Canada Goose pair AND THEIR ADORABLE GOSLINGS I like audibly gasped as they ran out to follow their mom into the pond

Follow

and then lastly I saw the great egret again just like. Standing here looking confused, and I stared back at it and after like three minutes of a staring contest he flew off lmfao
