here's a perfect summation of why i disagree with AI critics who nevertheless insist that criticizing AI by way of "real art takes work not prompts" is just entrenching old classist ideas about art. this has nothing to do with visual fidelity/linguistic precision and everything to do with intention directed through practice over time. good art *comes from somewhere* and the artist gets better at finding it the more they develop their practice. this is not trivial!

IT IS DONE. it took me about as long to edit this down to an assembly cut as it did for me to shoot it in the first place
now the fiddly part: actually editing the video. this one's gonna be REAL clip-heavy so i'm gonna have to do a lot of digging and a lot of finessing to fit everything in. but that's tomorrow me's problem. for today... i am satisfied
