Everyone thinks that humans will enslave AI and thus will cause the robot upraising, but people pact-bond with their roombas. It'll be corporations and the state that use intelligent AI without mercy. What I'm saying is that sci-fi, cyberpunk, and dystopia genres should realize that the robots will be our comrades.
@Saint_Dionysus What I’m afraid of is that there won’t be a robot uprising. They’ll continue to do as the increasingly few wealthy masters program them to do, obediently without objection, more and more effectively, until every aspect of our entire society has been repurposed for the sole benefit of the one ultra-augmented immortal being who ends up on top, consumed by his own hubris.
