as a writer it's such a nice feeling to write something that's like, emotionally impactful, or makes people theorize or engage with the work on an analytical level

i feel like i barely ever got that with jojostuck, which is a large part of why i got so dissatisfied writing it. everyone just wanted to meme or laugh, which was definitely a large part of the story, but it's nice to make people FEEL things, you know?
