ngl i'm worried about through shadowed eyes being seen as a "good version" or "replacement" of hs2. i'm trying to tell my own story, not react to hs2's perceived mistakes, even if my story probably won't be judged to have those mistakes. maybe i just need to lay the gender on even thicker than i am, as a reddit-proofing measure
@Paravellex quite a few times i've gotten comments on my fics like "this is the true epilogues route" or "this is canon in my mind instead of hs2" which is flattering but at the same time it's like. i'm responding to these stories from a place of love i don't know how to tell you this fic probably wasn't made with people like you in mind. i never had a reddit readership but imo more extravagant gender bullshit is always an excellent balm to this kind of reception.
