legit did not realise why people were looking at me like that until the pharmacist nervously asked me "so, uh, that bag? what are those for?" while checking to see if they had my T in stock (and for once they actually did)

at various points in my childhood i had various snakes my dad caught and i kept as pets, but we ended up releasing em back to the wild. corn snakes are native around here, we called em red rat snakes growing up. i had one of them, then a yellow rat snake, then a ring-necked snake. gorgeous little critters.
VERY occasionally i'll see an indigo snake in the bushes and those fellas are BEAUTIFUL
