the scooter startups literally destroy scooters when they go under in a city instead of flooding the market with cheap scooters

@kate @callieroxy I knew guys would strip them for parts. Apparently the battery packs are pretty useful
@kate @callieroxy don't know what the state of them is nowadays but they were trivially easy to steal a few years ago. As for destroying them, they only have a lifespan of about six months (again, as of a few years ago) because of build quality and abuse from customers, so probably not a big loss
