“What Does Victory Look Like for Us?”

We must study and understand the new communism emerging in the United States' revolution-in-infancy.

@bp nah that’s an unfair characterization — I just don’t think the strict ideological delineations powerless leftists have created over the last several decades are particularly useful right now more like

@kate for sure. i try not to use any of these words on the street.

@kate @bp

I think terms like 'marxist' or 'anarchist' are useful categorizations of specific tactics and theory being deployed in certain circumstances but not very useful when applied to groups or people as a label.

I think this is one of the main reasons the Zapatistas for example in some ways can be considered 'marxist' and in others can be considered 'anarchist' in terms of their influences but have long rejected being categorized by a single ideological term

@kate @bp
I have called myself an anarchist because that is what I personally align with but I have been personally questioning whether that label, while more or less correct, is actually useful in any way whatsoever.

Although that being said I still like the term communist as it is goal focused rather than focused on specific tactics or ideology

@kate my dumb bitch brain doesn't fully understand this even after a second read through. But I really really like the parts that I do understand. I think this is what the kids would call praxis.
(Do the kids call things praxis. I cant remember)
