at a 3d modeling/Unity workshop with a bunch of trans girls today AMA
“What prompted this” I haven’t done 3d modeling since playing with Maya/AutoCAD in 2008 and wanted to give it another shot
“Where’d the trans girls come from” well one’s my roommate and one’s one of my best friends from the lab and the rest idk they just showed up
“What are you making” a model of an ‘80s Toshiba cassette player/radio I used to own, hopefully it comes out well

Update: here’s my (very in-progress) cassette player — we learned how to work with the models in Unity, including as objects in VR 😛 It’s been 15+ years since I’ve done 3D modeling, super fun to revisit 😄
