i mean i like mega evolutions but why are people acting like they're significantly different from like. gigantimaxing for instance? they're practically the same thing right??
@projesterone mechanically they were more interesting, even the competitive scene found them both well-balanced enough and interesting to enjoy. and like, there’s no reason for them to just keep rebranding the same concept with different mechanics every gen except marketing
@projesterone like every gen now there’s this new mysterious pokemon super-evolution ability thats not in any of the other regions and none of the other regions have this place’s weird mysterious pokemon super-evolution but at the end of the day they’re all just some kinda super-evolution
@dangerdyke this is true and they should have just kept mega evolution all the way really but i just find them especially interchangeable because i just care about the new designs and mega whatever is not that different from gmax whatever
