finally got this mp3 player after watching for it on eBay for a while. sandisk mp3 players are way smaller than I remember. I opened the package just before leaving the house, and it had just enough charge for me to turn it on and look through the menus

@mollynoise oooh. last time I had one (not this model but same brand same year) I didn't know anything about custom firmware. might have to try it out this time
@prumm not sure all models are supported but IF i can put custom firmware on something i usually end up doing it, lol
