Whatever we know about how the government's and corporations' ability to spy on us comes from only occasional leaks from folks like Snowden and Assange, and is already out of date by the time us plebes hear about it. Switching to Signal doesn't matter if someone can just watch your screen or see what you're typing from afar, or listen in on you. I hope folks start building community during this time, because individual tech choices are not going to save us.
