one of the cool things about being born in 1989 is that i can make statements like "this is the best [x] to come out this century." i guess that's true of literally anyone alive, even someone who didn't experience the 20th century, but it gives me a tickle anyway
anyway i gotta say, the rawring 20s have not been as glomptastic as i had hoped. covid is just so not epic
the thing that's lost on new readers of homestuck i think is that we literally used to just talk like that. if you never experienced AIM you have no idea what you missed. discord is a pale shadow. in the old days you could change your text color to anything you wanted, you could change your font. and don't even get me started on forums, dude. the internet used to be such a silly place. it still is, but instead of coming from a lolcat it's coming from that pic of ben affleck smoking on a balcony
