big competition between two names on gdq for the main character of ff5

twitch plays pokemon has had things idly going on for a long time (mostly Saltybets-esque betting games on Pokemon Battle Revolution) but this tickles me due to my obsessions as of late. not really interested due to the lack of players and stream watchers

also god damn, in a month it'll be the 10 year anniversary of twitch plays pokemon huh

people seem to really like Jenna Coleman on Shrike Club these days. i didn't know that y'all were huge fans of Xenoblade Chronicles this whole time

so like voltron was just kinda mid even when it was "good" right

@Sophia_Zoe @pleonasticTautology @turntechcatfish if i set up a Yugioh 5Ds weekly watchalong server, would y'all be down

offer is also up to any other shrikes who see this and are interested in this silly kids show i enjoy

i'm not good at cinenerdle battle and i have only lost at it but i just took @kate into an extremely stupid one by starting at Pokemon 2000

you know i think clickbait thumbnails are usually very annoying but this guy's stupid thumbnails and titles for watching yugioh replays on Master Duel are an art form

there's something a little strange about modern pokemon games putting a focus on characters that, by virtue of having the same goal as you but not BEING the main character, are doomed by the narrative and must grapple with the fact that they have to let go of that dream or change their goals

like it's compelling but it's. strange to have pokemon games where it feels like you can't help but stomp on the dreams of characters who are ostensibly your friends

hs, silly thought

would rosebot drink the magnetic wodka

If you tried to stab someone, for example, [ONE WEEK] could force you to take a week to kill that person, OR, if you saw the act as its own end rather than part of the act of killing, it would take a week to merely stab them.

It would take someone with an extreme sense of will in order to take advantage of this. It's possible to read through an entire library using [ONE WEEK] if one can visualize the process of going through and reading every single book as the action they're performing.

[ONE WEEK] is a stand that latches onto other people and ensures that the action they were attempting to perform will take exactly one week to happen with 100% certainty, conversely making it unable to happen until that timespan is up. It does not work on the user.

The action affected is dependent on what they believed they were doing, and if they could envision all the steps to that process.
