i'll always have mixed feelings about the epilogues, but they got me to start writing, so there's that

@Paravellex the homestuck epilogues are a very well-written piece of fiction with a lot of smart things to say and interesting ideas I agree with, but they also have a lot of problematic ideas
the way characters act is incredibly believable extrapolating from where they were last seen four/seven years prior and at the same time also wildly off-base—not even timeline-to-timeline
on the whole they were good, and reading them was worth my time, but I wish to never directly engage with them again
@Paravellex (though I’m fine with indirect engagement, such as reading fanfics inspired by them like Through Shadowed Eyes by Paravellex on AO3 or follow-up comics like Homestuck^2)
@Paravellex the epilogues are insane because some scenes made feel feel literally physically ill (which has never happened when reading before) and some gave me gender euphoria. shits wack
