a while back I was in a facebook group for map shitposting, and people were arguing about what the regions of the USA were
so I decided to chime in with my own take: there are four regions: northeast, southeast, southwest, and northwest. The borders of these regions are based on which is closest, among Northeastern University, Southeastern University, Southwestern University, and Northwestern University.
Here, I have recreated that map:

been thinking about this page and how tarquin is very much a homestuck villain
the first parts are a bit uneven but i think i really found my stride around epilogue four, and the post-epilogue chapters are especially well-crafted

calliope is so funny because the narrative holds up a big flashing neon sign pointing towards her that says "this character is lawful good" and she's chaotic neutral
