today while substituting for a freshman class I started the class by drawing "full of milk" kitten on the board and saying THIS IS YOU. THIS IS WHAT I SEE WHEN I LOOK AT YOU. and they all studied full of milk and then several drew full of milk on their assignment for the day.

that was the high point of substituting for freshman environmental science. the low point was when I slipped and said "you can't be saying that, white baby" to a child and he very clearly did not get it
