this shit that the doctor can do with his sonic now is so marvel, and it feels very intentionally so. this is doctor who playing in the idiom of marvel movies, and adapting a comic story to boot. i'm not sure how i feel about the hard light shields??? but i also kind of love how brazen it is as A New Thing. i think we might be seeing the doctor fully transition into becoming a wizard. the merlin prophecy is coming true right before our eyes

@laika @sarahzedig oh thats so good to hear. the tan leather jacket ive been seeing in recent promos was really underwhelming compared to the couple of prior outfits id seen him in. i was worried theyd changed course and made him go with a more subdued look
