i never want to hear complaints abt Purple Prose again if the alternative is this rote fanfic bullshit im reading where every fact and thought and movement is laid out cleanly in order to scientifically move from romance trope beat to romance trope beat one after the other in a serviceable order
damn I can't find my Life is Strange shirt. did I give it to someone that follows me... or did I leave it somewhere when I was traveling...
also they showed this on 16 mm film, apparently for the first time in the US for several decades. it looked really good, but I think that also means it was using the on-film subtitles that must have been quite old. at one point the main character called someone else "aniki" which got translated as "bro" and made everyone in the audience laugh
