watching this one has been a long time coming. hip hop, fighting games, shonen battle manga, all of it owes so much to the 36th chamber. diffraction points from light sources create dazzling cross-shaped stars in some scenes that contribute to a very impactful visual style. in a way, this is a movie about dudes rocking. required reading fur the whole genre of media about martial arts and training your body, i think

i tried moving my podcasts from google podcasts over to youtube mewsic since they say theyre depurrcating google podcasts. i cannot believe they managed to make an even worse audio player at remembering where i was when i pawsed

i furgot to say this when i was talking about purrimer in my media thread but a character drops "fag" in that movie so completely out of nowhere that we all broke out laughing and went "YEAH??? UH HUH???"

i enjoyed spiderverse 2 howefur both times i watched it i spent about 60 purrcent of the movie in a moderate amount of discomfurt due to needing to pee

maybe i should try and see more movies in the theater. im not sure how much draw the expurrience has fur me though, as an inveterate pir8 and social movie-watcher with a tiny bladder

its more interesting to me as a petri dish to observe how gamers behave when discussing games than it is as an actual game i think
