@esvrld anyone who knows dril is welcome to communicate my final offer of $750
I am putting together a playlist of #DB2022 stuff. I have only done day 1 so far, but the intention is to be a pared down version of the entire run. Including mose big recurring bits, clips I remember well, and things I missed that I wanted to see.

The crazy busser did it. When people donate multiples of $7.99 they get the requisite number of check marks that wrap over the whole screen. And they got Bad Apple playing on them.
So since somebody tried to use it as a "gotcha, you're a hyprocite!" in reply to this post by pointing out something in my bio:
Actively trying to be a force of kindness.
Let's talk about this for a minute.
I see a lot of people who have been convinced that being kind means being polite and nice. This is a particularly neoliberal point of view and at least where I grew up (a generally liberal US state), something we're heavily propagandized with. Makes me think of the emphasis on things like "peaceful protest."
We live in a violent world filled with violent, hateful people. Some of those people literally want to kill me and mine. We need to actively prevent those people from feeling welcome here, or anywhere for that matter.
Cultivating a space where the most vulnerable people can feel some modicum of safety is a massive act of kindness. Preventing harm is a massive act of kindness. And it's been proven time and again we can't prevent harm by "being nice."
I do think it's beneficial to give people the benefit of the doubt, but if you're thinking something like "but I'm a democrat and I'm a kind person" you seriously need to examine the incredibly harmful impact the institution you're participating in having on marginalized persons.
So yeah, I'm going to be angry about these things. I'm going to be angry until me, my friends, and my loved ones aren't stuck under the boot of oppressive exploitation. And I'm going to consider it kindness because it is an act of solidarity.
When you get down to it it's honsetly just another flavor of respectability politics and tone policing, but there you have it.
so since I am here now, allow me to do some SLEEP PROPAGANDA
SLEEP IS GOOD
SLEEP IS IMPORTANT
SLEEP IS MORE IMPORTANT THAN ANY EDUCATION OR JOB
and the fact that we are forced to compromise on sleep in order to fulfill duties to capitalism is an immense injustice and health risk.
lack of sleep obviously increases stress levels and therefore the risk for all kinds of diseases, but it also damages your brain on a cellular level because SLEEP MAINTAINS THE INTEGRITY OF YOUR BRAIN.
