god help me i've been captured by slay the spire
@sarahzedig lol it got you? That's a classic
@junebug i have to be careful because this is a perfect depression game
@sarahzedig @junebug HAMIFI: ...Oh.∞
@pleonasticTautology @sarahzedig if you didn't realize it, yeah roguelikes are great for this. Be careful with roguelikes, open world games, city builders, MMOs especially; anything rhat you can spend time in and then instead of stopping just spend more time in
@junebug @sarahzedig HAMIFI: I mean, it's obvious with FFXIV, but with Slay the Spire, we die so frequently that runs don't... last long.∞
So it didn't really occur to us.∞
@sarahzedig eridan: yeah it's so good... it got us too but then again wwevve alwways been into roguelikes ahah
@breeoche now that i've seen the credits i'm gonna try to play it less, it's just SO easy to put a video on in the background and zone out while playing
@sarahzedig it’s good
@kate @sarahzedig alphy: it's officially the lowest-inertia thing we play
@sarahzedig i started playing again recently I almost have my defect at a20
@turntechcatfish @sarahzedig something something shrike the spire
@pleonasticTautology @sarahzedig i just got on and got flattened in act 1 on a20 4 times in a row and turned the game off
@turntechcatfish @sarahzedig HAMIFI: We've been unable to consistently clear Act 2 as the Ironclad in a regular playthrough.∞
@pleonasticTautology @sarahzedig act 2 is a nexus of uncontainable evil. the avocado rat fight is maybe the cruelest thing in the entire game
@turntechcatfish @sarahzedig HAMIFI: *THAT* All-motherfucker.∞
REACH HEAVEN --> THROUGH VIOLENCE
