THE JAYS (EXPANSION TEAM, SO VERY BAD) WERE DESPERATE ENOUGH TO CALL ME UP AT AGE 18??????

End of 1977 season report:

The Pittsburgh Pirates defeat the New York Yankees to win the 1977 World Series (@nowionlywantatriumph )

Due entirely to the raw desperation of the expansion team Jays, Valerie Serac is the only player to be called up to the majors this season. (putting up 1.7 WAR w a 3.76 ERA over 131.2 IP) The rest are developing in the minors.

Ron Guidry puts up fucking 10 WAR. Joe Morgan puts up 8.9. Guidry takes the AL MVP and Cy, Morgan takes the NL MVP, Tom Seaver the Cy.

ALSO??? SERAC NO HITS THE YANKEES???? WITH 2 AND A HALF STARS?? AND ONLY 4 STRIKEOUTS?? AND STILL LOST THE GAME

By pitching a no no and somehow losing the game my player has simply found a way to be Stieb even though he did the Stieb thing in S1

Going into the 1978 season, the 4 Big League players are: Me, on the Jays, Lup and Jett, on the White Sox, and Triumph, on the Twins

Giving my player the nickname The Blizzard feels especially appropriate now that he got drafted by one of the Canadian teams lmao

1978 All Star Break Check In

Major Leaguers:

Me, with the Jays (1.8 WAR, 3.63 FIP)

Triumph, with the Twins (.8 WAR, 4.18 FIP)

Lup, with the White Sox (.4 WAR, 3.15 FIP) (Rookie of the month!)

Callista, with the Cubs (.4 WAR, 3.26 FIP)

Only pitchers up so far
